How to Use DuckAssist: DuckDuckGo's ChatGPT-Based AI

DuckAssist is the latest AI Feature to be launched on a Platform this year. We’ve seen lots of platforms launching their own Artificial intelligence services and some of them, incorporating already existing AI into their platforms like Snapchat’s – My AI and Spotify’s DJ AI.

DuckAssist is exactly like that. It’s not a new AI Technology like Meta’s LLama or Google’s Bard. It’s an AI that summarizes your search whenever you ask a question using the DuckDuckGo browser whether you’re using your Smartphone or PC. It incorporates ChatGPT’s already existing technology and automatically makes it summarizes those questions you search into simpler terms.

For those who don’t know what DuckDuckGo is;

DuckDuckGo is a privacy-focused search engine that prioritizes the protection of user data. It was founded in 2008 by Gabriel Weinberg and has since gained popularity as an alternative to major search engines like Google and Bing.

Unlike these other search engines, DuckDuckGo doesn’t track its users or store their personal information. This means that users can search the web without worrying about their search history being recorded or used to serve them targeted advertisements.

In addition to its privacy features, DuckDuckGo also offers a number of other tools and features that make it a useful search engine. For example, it includes instant answers, which provide quick answers to common queries, and a “bangs” feature, which allows users to search specific websites directly from the DuckDuckGo search bar.

Overall, DuckDuckGo is a search engine that prioritizes privacy and user control over their data. It’s a great option for anyone who wants to search the web without worrying about their information being collected or used for advertising purposes.

Now, let’s check out how you can use the DuckAssist Feature on different devices.
